4. Resource Usage

- Accounts that consume excessive server resources may need to upgrade services or reduce resource usage.
4.2 Background Programs
- Background processes require prior approval and may incur additional charges.
5. Prohibited Services
5.1 Spam and Unsolicited Email
- Sending spam or unsolicited emails is strictly prohibited.
- Violators may face account suspension and additional penalties.
5.2 IRC and Bots
- IRC and related services are not permitted on Metro Vancouver IT’s servers.
6. Technical Support
Metro Vancouver IT provides 24/7 technical support to direct clients but does not support third-party clients or resellers.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
7.1 Compliance with Laws
- Users must not use the service to infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or proprietary rights.
7.2 Domain Name Usage
- Domain names must comply with trademark and intellectual property laws.
8. Service Cancellation
8.1 Customer Requested Cancellation
- Customers must provide notice at least 15 days prior to the next billing date for account cancellations.
8.2 Zero Tolerance for Abuse
- Abusive language or behavior towards staff may result in immediate account termination without refund.
9. Limitation of Liability
Metro Vancouver IT is not liable for:
- Loss of profits, data, or business resulting from service use.
- Service interruptions, delays, or non-deliveries.
The maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the 30 days of service during which the issue occurred.
10. Force Majeure
Metro Vancouver IT is not responsible for delays or service interruptions caused by events beyond its control, including natural disasters, labor disputes, or governmental actions.
11. Amendments
Metro Vancouver IT reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions without prior notice. Customers are encouraged to review these terms regularly.
