What you get

How Website Redesign Services — Without Losing Your SEO actually works

Concrete deliverables — no vague SaaS jargon. Each engagement is sized to your business and reviewed monthly.

SEO-safe by design

We crawl your current site first, record every ranking URL, and build a redirect and metadata plan so the redesign launches without a traffic cliff.

Design that converts

Clear structure, trust signals, and calls to action placed around how buyers decide — because a prettier site that converts worse is a failed redesign.

Faster after launch

New templates are built for Core Web Vitals: optimized images, lean CSS, and sensible caching — most redesigns we ship load in half the old time.

Content migration

Pages, posts, images, and forms moved and cleaned up — outdated copy flagged, thin pages merged, and the content your rankings depend on kept intact.

Accessibility & mobile

Contrast, keyboard navigation, and responsive layouts handled during the build, so the new site works for every visitor and passes modern audits.

Supported after launch

A local team maintains what it builds — hosting, updates, backups, and quick fixes are available after the redesign instead of a goodbye handoff.

Who it is for

A strong fit for

  • Businesses with a site that looks fine on a 2018 monitor and broken on a phone
  • Companies ranking well today who are afraid a redesign will destroy their SEO
  • Owners whose site was built by someone who is no longer reachable
  • Teams whose current site is too rigid to add pages, services, or landing pages
  • Organizations merging websites after a rebrand, acquisition, or name change
  • Anyone burned by a previous redesign that tanked traffic or leads

Our process

How a redesign project runs

  1. 1

    Audit & benchmarks

We crawl the current site, export its rankings and traffic, and record page speed — so "better" is measured against real numbers, not opinions.

  2. 2

    SEO preservation plan

Every URL that earns traffic gets a decision: keep, improve, or 301-redirect. Titles, descriptions, schema, and internal links are mapped before design starts.

  3. 3

    Structure & design

New sitemap and page layouts built around your services and how customers search — reviewed with you in staging, not sprung at launch.

  4. 4

    Build & migrate

Templates built on a modern, fast foundation; content migrated and cleaned; forms, analytics, and tracking events reconnected and tested.

  5. 5

    Pre-launch checks

Redirects verified one by one, metadata compared against the plan, Core Web Vitals measured, and a full backup taken before DNS changes.

  6. 6

    Launch & monitor

We watch Search Console and analytics for weeks after launch, fixing any crawl errors or ranking wobbles quickly — the redesign is not done at go-live.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Will a website redesign hurt my Google rankings?
It can — botched redesigns that change URLs without redirects or delete ranking content are one of the most common causes of sudden traffic loss. That is exactly what our process prevents: we inventory every ranking URL first, map 301 redirects, carry over titles, descriptions, and schema, and monitor Search Console after launch. Protecting your SEO is the core of the service, not an add-on.
How much do website redesign services cost?
Small business marketing sites typically run in the low-to-mid four figures; larger sites with ecommerce, memberships, or heavy content migration cost more. After a short review of your current site we quote a fixed price for a defined scope — no open-ended hourly billing. A targeted refresh (new templates, same structure) is also an option when a full redesign is more than you need.
How long does a website redesign take?
Most small business redesigns take four to eight weeks: about a week of audit and SEO planning, two to four weeks of design and build, then migration, testing, and launch. Content readiness is the most common delay — if your copy and images are ready, the timeline shortens.
What is the difference between a redesign and a refresh?
A refresh keeps your site structure and updates the visual layer — templates, typography, imagery, and key pages. A full redesign rethinks structure, content, and platform. Refreshes cost a fraction of a redesign and are often the smarter first step; we will tell you honestly which one your site needs.
Can you redesign my site without changing the CMS?
Yes. Most redesigns stay on the existing platform — usually WordPress — with a new theme and cleaned-up plugins. If the current platform is genuinely the problem (unsupported page builder, abandoned CMS, unfixable performance), we will show you the migration option with real costs so you can decide.
Do you write or edit the content too?
We restructure and edit existing content as part of every redesign — merging thin pages, rewriting headings around what people search for, and tightening copy. Full copywriting for new pages can be added to the scope if you need it.
What happens to my existing URLs and backlinks?
Every URL on the current site is mapped before launch: kept where possible, or 301-redirected to the closest new page. That preserves the value of backlinks other sites have pointed at you for years. We also update your XML sitemap and resubmit it to Google at launch.
My last redesign went badly — how would this be different?
Most failed redesigns skip the boring parts: no URL inventory, no redirect map, no benchmark of what the old site ranked for, and no monitoring after launch. Our process makes those steps explicit deliverables you can see, and staging preview means nothing goes live before you have clicked through it yourself.
