What is the difference between this and your managed VPS?
Managed VPS plans include hardening, monitoring, patch discipline, and hands-on support from our team, so they cost more. Self-managed plans give you the same class of hardware with full root access at a lower price — you do the administration. If you are unsure, start with the question: who fixes the server at 2 a.m.? If the answer should be us, choose managed.
Which Linux distributions can I choose?
Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, and Rocky Linux are offered at checkout. If you need a different distribution, mention it after checkout and we will confirm availability before provisioning.
Are backups included?
Yes — every plan includes a daily backup of the previous 24 hours at no extra cost. For anything mission-critical you should still keep your own off-server backups, since restores replace the whole VPS.
Is the price really in Canadian dollars? What about tax?
Yes. All plans are billed in CAD and the listed price already includes applicable Canadian sales tax — there is nothing added at checkout.
Can I pay monthly or yearly?
Both. Every plan can be billed monthly or yearly — pick the interval at checkout. Yearly billing charges 12 months in advance on a single invoice, which many businesses prefer for accounting.
